Our Process

Stage 1: Expectations

Our love for design doesn't stop there. As much as we love the design process, our priority is creating a space that meets our client's satisfaction. That begins with setting expectations of the project from our initial phone call where we'll establish the following:

Client's style
Space needs and design goals
Budget and time frame of project
Scope of project and construction needs

Stage 2: Exploration

This is where the fun begins! Here, we'll delve into the bulk of the design process. We'll have design meetings with clients periodically online or in person with updates on our concepts for the space, which includes the following:

Concept board with details on style, color, and textures
Floorplan with furniture layout
Layout sketches and drawings
Options for furniture, paint, materials, lighting, etc.
Itemized budget

Stage 3: Fine Tuning

Once the general concept and shortlist of design elements have been established, it's time to fine tune our options and make decisions! We'll choose the paint colors, furniture, lighting, etc. All the while, the budget will be updated constantly so there are no surprises in the end for our clients. This is also the time (last chance) to make any last minute changes to create our perfect space.

Stage 4: Implementation

Here, we bring our designs to life! After identifying during Stage 1 and 2 if we'll complete the project diy, with the help of a handyman, or through a general contractor, we'll set up a schedule of things for the renovation. Here's what we will manage for you during this stage:

Identify materials and supplies needed for renovation
Create schedule for delivery of furniture and materials
Itemize and create tasks for renovation

Stage 5: Walk Through

As we established in Stage 1, we want our clients to be not just satisfied but excited about the finished space. After renovation, we'll do a walk through and tackle any pending items and help you stage your space.
